Senior Class Picnic (Ticket and Waiver)      Tuesday, June 2, 2026

• This event is organized by the PTSA. Check Parent Square for how to get tickets. 
• Seniors will meet at 9:30 at Centennial Plaza to board buses. Event at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk: 11am-2:30pm. 2:30 - Buses return to the same parking lot by 4pm.
• Optional event with a purchased ticket (transportation, lunch and snacks, unlimited rides wristband) and waiver signed by parent via ParentSquare required. Waiver and Tickets go live on Sunday, April 19th - deadline to sign-up is Tuesday, May 26th at 9am. 
• After the deadline, students will be invited to sign-up for buses. Seniors MUST travel TO & FROM the Senior Class Picnic by chartered buses; no private transportation is permitted. 
• Wear shorts or swimsuits, footwear, sweatshirt & SUNSCREEN! Shirts required. Bring spending money if desired. Students and their possessions may be searched for any other banned substances.  

Graduation Rehearsal                            Wednesday, June 3, 2026

• Mandatory for students who are attending the Graduation Ceremony.
• Begin meeting at 8:45 AM. Rehearsal will begin at 9:00 AM. 
• Rehearsal should end around 11:00 a.m. 
• Graduation tickets will be distributed after rehearsal 
  • As long as senior checkout requirements have been met & student has attended Graduation Rehearsal 
  • Information regarding check out procedures will be sent out during advisory in early May
  • 10 paper tickets - can be given/ shared with others.

Graduation Ceremony (Free, Tickets)        Thursday, June 4, 2026

• Graduation will be held on campus in the Earl Hansen Viking Stadium. 
• Seniors meet at the baseball field and line up in caps & gowns at 4:30pm 
• The diploma ceremony begins at 5:00 p.m. 
• Each senior receives 10 tickets for guests—Tickets are distributed after the Graduation Rehearsal. 
• Seating opens at 4:00pm and saving seats is not allowed.  

Immediately following the ceremony is the PTSA Reception on the Quad.  ​

Grad Night Party (Purchased Ticket  and Waiver  Required)                     Thursday, June 4, 2026

• Hosted by the PTSA. Contact [email protected] with questions.
• Optional event with purchased ticket (transportation, dinner & food throughout the evening, dancing, games, and entertainment) and waiver signed by parent via ParentSquare required. Waiver and Tickets go live on Sunday, April 19th - deadline to sign-up is Tuesday, May 26th at 9am. 
• Graduates assemble by the chartered buses at 8:00 p.m. for an undisclosed location. Buses return to PALY at 2:00am on Friday. Graduates MUST travel TO & FROM the Grad Night by chartered buses; no private transportation is permitted. Buses will leave promptly after loading. 
• Grads, please wear casual clothing for an unforgettable celebration of your accomplishment!
