ASB Officer Election and Appointment Information

The decision to stand for election or appointment to ASB is never an easy one. It is our hope that the information provided on this website (officer job descriptions, elections rules, and constitutional information) will help you, the potential candidate, in making an informed decision. Certainly, involvement in ASB is not an easy or simple commitment, but rather on par in terms of time and effort with joining a sports team or with being part of a highly active on-campus organization. ASB standards of behavior and performance are high and are always evolving to meet the needs of an elite school such as Paly. Alternatively, new to the 2022-2023 school year is the ability to be in the ASB class without holding an official position. Though you may not be able to cast votes during official meetings, your vocal input will be welcomed. If you have any questions or want to just talk about a particular position, you can always contact Ms. Bond or the ASB President.
