Message from the ASB Student Activities Director

Dear Class of 2026 Parents/Guardians,
As we prepare for this year’s high school graduation, here are some important details:

• Required Items: A green cap, gown, and tassel are required for all graduates.
• Purchase Options: These items can be purchased from Jostens. Please note that prices increase over time. Please order before March 31 to ensure timely delivery. 
• Borrowing Option: Caps and gowns can be borrowed from and returned to Paly. Please note that borrowed caps cannot be decorated or altered. If you wish to borrow a cap and/or gown, please complete THIS FORM.
• Tassels: We will provide a tassel for all students. Other tassel options can be purchased from Jostens. 
• Item Pick-Up will be in May (exact date TBD) at lunch in the quad.

Graduation Details:

• Date and Time: Thursday, June 4th, 2026, at 5:00 PM
• Location: Earl Hansen Viking Stadium

FAQ:

When is the Graduation Ceremony? +

June 4 at 5:00 PM, Earl Hansen Viking Stadium

What do I have to wear to graduation? +

You must wear a green cap, green gown, and tassel to participate in graduation.

Can I decorate my cap? +

You may only decorate caps that you purchase. Borrowed/loaned caps can not be altered and must be returned at the end of the ceremony.

Where do I buy my cap and gown? +

Cap and gown units can be purchased directly through Jostens. Ordering information will be shared with seniors and families through Parent Square.

When is the deadline to order? +

Order deadlines are TBD and will be announced as soon as they are confirmed. Please place your order as soon as possible to ensure timely delivery.

What if I can’t afford to purchase a cap and gown? +

Students who prefer not to purchase a cap and gown may borrow one from the school at no cost. We want to ensure every student can participate in graduation.

How do I request to borrow a cap and/or gown? +

Students may fill out THIS FORM to request to borrow a cap and/or gown. No explanation is required.

Will borrowed gowns look different? +

No. Borrowed gowns are the same style and color as purchased gowns.

When do I pick up my cap and gown? +

Distribution details will be shared closer to graduation.

Where do I pick up my cap and gown? +

Orders placed through Jostens by the deadline and borrowed items will be available for pick up from room 502 in May, exact date TBD.

When do borrowed gowns need to be returned? +

Borrowed gowns must be returned immediately following the graduation ceremony.

Can I reuse them? YES!

I would like to donate an old cap/gown. Can I do that? +

Yes! We happily take donated graduation items. Just bring them to the main office!
